1996- Bowl win:Defeated FSU in the Sugar Bowl 52-20

What u might not know:The 96' team is remembered as a dominant team,and outscoring opponents 611-221,but it essentially took a miracle for the Gators to win a national title.All the cards had to fall just right after the Gator's late loss to the Seminoles,and the school's first championship had a lot to do with some lucky breaks....ie Big 12 loss from Nebraska and Undefeated Arizona St loss in the Rose Bowl to make UF the national champion after it stomped FSU in a bowl-game rematch. 12-1(SEC 8-0 SEC)


2006-Bowl win:Thumped Ohio St in the BCS Championship game 41-14
Star Players:QB-Chris Leak,WR-Percy Harvin,Safeety Reggie Nelson.


What u might not know:The Gators' defense held opponents to 189points(13.5per game),the lowest average since UF's1983 team.and while the lasting image of the team is of it blowing Ohio state away,defense was the key all season.13-1(7-1 SEC)

2009-Bowl win:Topped Oklahoma in the BCS Championship game 24-14.
Star Players:QB-Tim Tebow,WR-Percy Harvin,LB-Brandon Spikes.

What u might not know:Following the loss ,the Gators won each of their next eight games by 28points or more, becoming the first major college football team to do so since Minnesota in 1903.13-1(7-1 SEC)
