| The Patriots select Clay Matthews OLB, Southern Cal.
I checked about a million times to make sure I didn't miss him getting drafted already. Pats could easily (and should) keep going defensive back here...but if theres a first round talent available at linebacker, they'll take him.

| 54: Vikings select William Beatty, OT (Connecticut)
Loadholdt was gone and the Vikings NEED a RT badly. Beatty has some question marks with his character, but since I don't have to deal with him, his talent is too good to pass up.

| with the 55th pick the Atlanta Falcons select S William Moore, Missouri
The Falcons have had poor safety play for pretty much the entire decade. Lawyer Milloy helped the situation, but he's nearing the end of his career and outside of him there's a glaring lack of talent at the position. Moore struggled with injuries his senior year and saw his stock drop out of the first round, but physically he's one of the elite safety prospects in the Draft with the size to crowd the line and the speed to play in coverage. A LB or OL could have gone here also, but given his potential Moore looks like the best value for this spot by far.

| With the 56th pick the Dolphins select DT Ron Brace from Boston College
Another guy that can help right away as our DT's are getting up in age. Also considered a cornerback but nothing stood out at this time.

| The Patriots select CB Jairus Byrd Oregon
The influx of young talent in the defensive backfield continues with this selection...could also potentially play safety, and the Pats love versatility. ILB, OT, TE and even a potential replacement/backup for Vince Wilfork at DT were options here...but they can wait.

| I am the colts give me d-tackle ricky jean francis-
I feel like the colts have always valued quickness on their d line more so than any other chacteristic so that's why i am taking him.
My first pick someone made for me-if i had made it would have been micheal johnson-but since someone else made it we do need a receiver-but when have the colts drafted a tall keyshawn johnson type receiver? To me they want quick guys who run route well-so i just don't see them taking him. I want more protection for peyton
so i am switching to herman johnson-why? Because he is a wall and he moves well for someone that size he played GT's quick front and did ok-his side didn't allow a sack all year.
Rutgers fans rejoice kenny britt is back in play.

| With the 63 pick the cardinals take Chase Coffman (Missouri).
Probably loses Boldin and all TE are FA's, I decided to go for a very good recieving TE. This guy is a beast and is a more athletic Dallas Clarke. There are Defense needs which I would go all D with most of the remaining picks[quote]

| The Steelers remain with a pressing need on both lines. At this stage, there aren't any 3-4 DEs that I would take this high, nor any free safeties that I really like. Thus, I am going with another OG, Andy Levitre, Oregon State. I think Robinson is athletic enough to play RT, although the Steelers could easily replace both OGs from this season. | |

| With #65 pick in the 3rd Round, The Detroit Lions select South Carolina Junior Safety, Emanuel Cook.
Although his height is figured to hurt him in the draft, Cook is a really dynamic safety who can do just about everything.. He is a just a piece to fixing the Lions terrible defense Safety or CB is a huge concern for the Lions.. they still need help at DE, DT, OLB, WR, and OL..
Like Cook or not he is the right pick

| For the 67th pick overall, the Kansas City Chiefs select Javon Ringer, RB, Michigan State
Kansas city needs an RB bad and Ringer is the last quality RB left in this draft. Yeah, Johnson used to be good, but this past season was plagued with injuries and relatively poor play. His future with the chiefs is ambiguous and the Chiefs need some fresh meat at RB. No doubt Ringer is the best to fill his spot at this point.

| Dallas pick- WR Kenny Britt
I was going to go another route with this pick, but I think Britt is too good to pass up at this spot.
